Try it out-You won't be sorry
Reza, the owner will go out of his way to make sure you have a great experience and great food. The prices are great. Food is great and fresh. Try the soup (any soup) or the Hearts of Palm salad. Paninis are stacked!

sandwiches well done
I'm vegetarian so I can only speak for the grilled vegetable sandwich and the tuna sandwich, but they were both very good. I imagine the meat sandwiches must be the same. The tuna ,especially, was an exceptional tuna salad. It tastes like it has fresh dill in it too.

What a bright spot in one's day!
Reza's chicken salad is wonderful, matched only by his friendly smile and genuine interest in his customers. This spot is a treasure and is everything a city deli should be!

My favorite place in all of Chicago
This deli is outstanding! Reza, the owner, is such a wonderful man! My boyfriend & I went in there last week for the first time and talked to him for half an hour. He is very friendly and whips up a great sandwich. We took his advice and let him make us a turkey panini- amazing! We told him we were new to the place and he welcomed us with free soup and a cookie! The soup, made daily, was chicken and rice and was heavenly. He truely just wants you to enjoy his deli. This is a must- try it asap!
