Brisku's Bistro

I went last night with two friends of mine around 8pm for the Tuesday specials. We got there and it was mostly empty but we had a great time. The deals that were advertised online were correct which is good because some places change there specials or stop them and don't update there website or other advertisements. Anyway the $2 burgers were great. I got my burger with tater tots and my friends got fries. If you get the tater tots you get a lot more of them than fries. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari but we got it with buffalo sauce on it. It was like having chicken wings but, it was seafood. It was tasty and had a nice kick to it. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. There is this dessert that comes in a coffee cup and it has coffee in it. I dont like coffee but my friends thought the dessert was really good. It was a very elegant looking dessert, something you would get at like a more expensive place.

Brisku's has really good, homemade food but is kind of overpriced for the portion sizes. The best is that it is a White Sox bar on the North Side of Chicago...rare. It is easy to keep yourself busy with darts, billards, electronic bowling, Golden Tee and the electronic juke box. The drink prices are good and overall service is good. The owner is a nice, personable guy who treats his customers really well and is not afraid to buy customers a drink...again, rare now-a-days. Highly recommended for great drinks, good food and good conversation.

This is a wonderful neighborhood joint with excellent pizza and Albanian food. Try the pizza with quevap and you won't be disappointed. When it isn't crowded it's like an oasis, but it can get a little crowded on the weekend and for events. The owner is a super nice guy. Overall this is a great spot.
