What a great find. I know it's not really "off the beaten path" if you consider it's proximity to Mich. ave, State St, etc. but what a good choice for lunch! One could eat here every day and have something different every time. I'd choose their healthy, fresh sammies over many of their neighborhood competitors anyday! *(I usually do!) for great deals, check out the daily specials. I like the sandwiches with fresh deli meat and lots of veggies. Enjoy! Food gets -.5 for not having healthy options for chips, like pretzels, or baked chips as part of the specials.

Used to frequent the juice bar but on several occasions, veggies were kept beyond their shelf life resulting in bad juice so I stopped purchasing juice.

I just went there for lunch after reading the reviews, and they were accurate - Brian's is a great place for a healthy lunch. It's hard to find healthy food anywhere in Chicago, much less healthy food that doesn't leave you starving. I'm a pretty big fellow and I was more than satisfied with the beef shawarma, although I didn't know how to pronounce it. I'm going to go back later and try out their smoothies. In all, Brian's was a good find and would be great for anyone who is hungry but doesn't want to feel like junk after lunch. The service was friendly and my food was ready pretty quickly. It's also a nice little place with a welcoming atmosphere. Hope you enjoy it.

I used to wrk across the street and I miss the food here. Everything there is fresh and delicious and I'd recommend it to my best friend!!

I work nearby and eat here regularly. Grape leaves and hummus are great, and I've had the mouth-watering beef shawarma several times. Tried the Italian sausage a week ago and it was very meaty, not greasy and gristly. Remember to include a pistachio+honey+philo dough "cookie" which is on the counter by the register--very tasty.

I ate there 3 times in a week while at a conference in downtown Chicago. If I'd known about it when I got there, I'd have eaten there everyday. I love the Mediterranean Combo and my husband, the Italian Beef sandwich. This is the best quality and cheapest Mediterranean food ever. I'm sure their other stuff is good too. I love Brian's Deli! Just beware - if you don't live in Chicago and have access, you'll be a little sad now and then. I'm from Athens, GA and now live in VA and have found nothing to compare!
