Just moved in!
I just moved in across the street, so it's among a few local neighborhood eateries. The beefs are pretty darn good, nice and messy if you tell them... but they're always nice and ask how you want it. The fries aren't so bad either, they spare you over salting and leave that to you, but they come packed in a neat little paper bag pouch which makes you feel like you've got a real treat! I've never actually eaten in the building, but it seems pretty empty and most of the cliental probably get it to go anyways. I'm going to start a habit of using their 50ยข sticker machine every time I go there.

Best Beef
Boston's Beef is the best beef ever! I am always amazed by the same quality and flavor...it never changes, it is always excellent. It is, in my family the #1 Beef joint in the Chicagoland area, probably in the nation.

The absolute best!!!!
I grew up living on Richmond Street, and like Roscoe, Boston's was walking distance. I now live in Birmingham, AL, but when I go back to Chicago to visit relatives, we ALWAYS make it a point to visit Boston's. Trust me, the south can't even begin to compare to the quality of taste when it comes to Boston's Italian Roast Beef. I'm not quite Roscoe's age, yet, but not far behind him. Just curious if we knew each other as kids?? Would be great for Boston's to open up a chain of stores and maintain the quality of food and service they have in Chicago. Or better yet, do you make air deliveries?? LOL

Been going there since I was a kid
This is the place that my father first took me for a great beef...I am 55 this week. It was walking distance from our house on Richmond St. The beef, the bread, the juice and the peppers spoil you and you never want to go to any other place. We now bring our kids, 2 are in college and hopefully we will bring grandchildren there. We live about 2.5 hours from Chicago and when we visit, even though we stay at the fancy Michigan Avenue hotels, our first pilgramage is Boston's. Don't ever change!!!
