I Feel Like I'm At Home
I can not say enough about this wonderful restaurant . The staff delightful, professiona, & fun. It is a restaurant you feel like family. If you want quiet, you can have that to just sit in a booth and enjoy. The food is excellent ,desserts even better. The prices are reasonable ,especially when you see how much other Italian Resturants charge. I am a regular ......home away from home.

Dishwasher new Chef?
Upon reading the reviews, I took my family to the restaraunt for dinner. The service was very slow (30 mins after the order was placed). I ordered the veal parmesan and was told that was what was taking so long. I will say the clam chowder was good, the bread was cold and the veal was horrible. Veal is suppose to be sliced thin and pounded out, sauteed and then topped with sauce. What I got was a slab of veal an inch thick and tougher than my shoe. The marinara sauce was unflavorable and the whole meal was forgettable. Wish I had gone someplace else that night. Almost every other place we went to during our visit had wonderful and flavorable Italian food, well prepared and the service was wonderful. Don''t get fooled by the ratings, skip this place all together.

Great pizza hidden in the loop!
Although the outside doesn't look like much, when you walk into Boni Vino's, its like stepping into a scene from "The Godfather." Red checkered table cloths and a free juke box create a fun, old fashioned atmosphere. Prices also seem to come from the era of the juke box. The thin crust pizza (starting at $13 for a large) is as amazing as the chicken parmigiana ($10). The wait staff is attentive and food always comes out hot and fresh. Once in a while you'll catch Danny, Sr siting at the bar having a drink while Danny, Jr checks in on customers at their tables. This family run restaurant is definitely a place to check out!

What a Bargain!
Stopped in for an early dinner. Cheesy Garlic Bread was great app. Dinners were hot and tasty and reasonably priced.

Valentines Day
We happened to be in Chicago on Valentine's Day on a business trip and we stumbled across Boni Vino's. It was our best Valentine's Day ever! We were treated like family and now, every year on Valentines Day, we make an effort to come to Chicago so that we can relive that wondeful first Valentines Day at Boni Vino's.

Great Pizza
I started going to Boni Vino's in the early 1970s, and it seems nothing much has changed over the years. The food was always great, and still is. Try it, you'll like it :-)
