Great Pizza
I started going to Boni Vino's in the early 1970s, and it seems nothing much has changed over the years. The food was always great, and still is. Try it, you'll like it :-)

Good & crazy
Stopped in after a fest and had a few drinks with some Pizza & calmari and a side of pasta all for 70 dollars for 4 of us. the place was like something out of the Godfather and when we were there two Big guys were calling each other names while working with each other and it was entertaining . We met some people there who been going there for over 30 years the place has been there since 1967 Good place!

We're family!
We stumbled across this charming place while waiting for a train. Although the service was a little slow, we didn't mind at all. It was great "people watching" that afternoon. We came in as strangers, and left feeling like family. I can't wait to go back again. Great hospitality and darn good food. I had the Italian beef with peppers, and it was delicious. Maybe I'll branch out next time we're in town and try some pasta. Many thanks to our new family and friends.

Great Loop Restaurant
This place is great! The Italian meatball sandwich is my favorite but I had the rigatoni last time and it was awesome as well. It is definitely a different experience everytime you go in and the service can be slow if it's busy but overall, it's like stepping into a time warp when you walk in - very "Soprano" like but the owner and servers all make sure everything is great. I'm going today actually - I can't wait!!

A little surprise in the south loop
I have probably walked past this little italian restaurant hundreds of times over the past 20 or so years but have never gone in. Then I was invited to lunch from a visitor from St. Louis and he suggested this restaurant! I went along and was pleasantly surprised by the food and the prices. The service wasn't the best but I understand that can change from visit to visit. I will be going there again - soon. Chas

Always interesting....
This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Loop - not because of the great food (it's good, not great), nor the beautiful atmosphere, but because of the unique and interesting service. Every experience I've had there has been different from the last, and ALWAYS interesting. Once, the giant mafia like owner was sitting in the window seat greeting customers. Another time, he was singing Dean Martin tunes at the top of his Pavarotti-like voice at the bar before he made the rounds to see how the service was. Another time, we invited a homeless woman inside with us who seemed to be well known at the resaurant and she caused quite a scene when she turned to the table next to us and informed them that they were all going to hell after praying a Fried Green Tomatoes prayer. Anyhow, if not for any other reason than to have an interesting and atypical experience, I highly recommend this hidden restaurant - you're sure to have a cultural experience you're not likely to forget.
