Excellent goodies and iced coffee. Awesome decor, very kid-friendly. They get their own colorful chairs that go with a pint-sized table. Very friendly, helpful and patient staff. They even chatted up my toddler. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to visit the new Smashcake, too.

This place is simply a delight. I am forever dying for one of their Parfaits of The Day. The Elvis Brownies rock. The people who work here are nice as can be. So so so glad this place exist. And whats even better is they have a second place just opened called Chaos Theory Cakes on Lincoln.

This place takes baked goods to a whole new level. While a tad bit pricey, their products are well worth it. Much better then what used to be my three favs - Dinkel`s, Bittersweet and Sweet Mandy B`s. I purchased a triple chocolate devil`s food cake that was simply otherworldly. The frosting at each layer was 1/2 thick, it was buttery and quality of the chocolate was great. The cake itself was moist and dense. It was perfect. The inside is cozy and invitingnot only perfect for a pick up but also great for a sit down to coffee and one of their wonderful baked goods.

The Bleeding Heart Bakery is the only all organic bakery in Chicago. The baked goods as well as the savory items are all very tasty and well prepared. The Smore's brownies and the salty caramel chocolate mousse tart are my favorite. The shop itself is very, very cute as well.

The Bleeding Heart is the best bakery in all of Chicago! Everything is yummy, the staff is super cool, and everything is organic and sustainable. We need more places like the Bleeding Heart in this city. Their vegan banana fudge walnut brownie is out of this world!
