Mike Sheerin is a genius.
Blackbird consistently turns out the best food in town. It's Paul Kahan's name over the door, but Mike Sheerin delivers amazing amazing food every time I'm there. The sweetbreads are heaven.

Great Food, but a Little Overpriced
The food was very well thought-out and tasted delicious, but the portions were very small. We actually had to go grab some food later in the evening at another place nearby. The service was great and I really enjoyed our server. When I got the final bill it was over $400 for myself and 2 clients and we definately didn't go wild. I really enjoyed Blackbird and recommend checking it out, but I wouldn't say that it's the best in the city.

Blackbird Sings
Almost the perfect restaurant. Top notch food and a pretty crowd but no pretense. And despite being in a slick space, it feels almost homey.
