A restricted menu, in fact little or no choice (except 'small or large') but who needs choice when the speciality is as good as this? Steamed and braised goat meat in a mellow, warming broth, served with salsa, freshly made tortillas (watch 'em...) and condiments: lime quarters, cilantro, chopped onions, dried chiles. That's it. But every mouthful was fresh and delicious. A warm welcome in a characterful, battered storefront, in a characterful, battered neighbourhood. One of the very best meals I had on a recent 5 week tour of the USA.
