yes it is very casual. But the food is excellent very approachable no waiters with attitude here. just quick service with some very tastey food. it is not cheap. it's the best quality available however is very fairly priced have been going there since they opened. Great cod and fried oysters, also soft shell crabs. very accomadating and friendly staff. Can't say enough. Wish you all the best.

My son eats here at least once a week and I joined him last week. The fish tacos were amazing and the truffle fries are killer! I'm going back today for the fish and chips. This place is a winner!

I am also british and I agree this is simply the best chippy in chicago, forget Duke of perth forget the gage ...this is the best.

The new trend is apparently to call your hamburger stand a gourmet place and then charge outrageous prices for at best mediocre food. The food was average at best, and we spent $40 for a squid po' boy (chewy and tough), a porkbelly po boy (so greasy we tasted in the next day) truffle friest (greasy, soggy, soft and luke-warm) and a gyros taco (anemic meat amount). And that was $40. Will never go back. This town has too many good places with better prices, and food that really does taste good. Also will never again trust Guy Fieri's show. He is now 0 for 2 in my book, the other being the Italian deli on s. Michigan. Both we regrettable, and very much so.

I love fish. I had their shrimp po boy--absolutely to die for--large shrimp which was deep fried and extremely tasty. My only complaint is there are no tables. Fun to watch your food being prepared. Everyone was friendly. Highly recommend.

Food cooked to perfection. Never-ending love for the fish tacos. Strictly "food on the go", but once you taste the food you want YO hang out, or just stay? Big and Little needs ya sit down and wiggle your toes restaurant space ! Atmosphere real casual, chef REAL SERIOUS about his cuisine. Never thought I would use the adjective "cuisine" in the context of fast food. If life permitted, aim sure I could find something good to eat there EVERYDAY !
