Big & Little's

I enjoyed a variety of tacos and po' boys, but will never be back simply because of the price-gauging. It is fundamentally wrong to charge B&L's prices for tacos, regardless of the ingredients. I would have loved to make this my go-to takeout/delivery spot, but unfortunately the juice isn't worth the squeeze--- I also refuse to take friends here for the same reason. Too bad. A lot of potential.

Pros: A nice menu with very tasty food Owners spent some time with our family A short cab drive away from the usual bump and grind, I like the feel of the place..... Cons: Po Boy was small Expensive meal!

I live in the neighborhood and really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it turned out to be a tremendous disappointment. We ordered fish and chips that were charred on one side and on top of a bed of greasy and limp truffle fries. The Po Boy was greasy as well. The tacos were good but not worth going back for considering the rest of the disappointing meal. When one of the employees asked how things were, we pointed out the burned and greasy elements of our food and he shrugged his shoulders and said the kitchen was closing and did we want anything else? For $48.00, you are better off going elsewhere.

Grilled tilapia taco was the best!! I would not eat fish taco anywhere else. I ordered 3 of them and could have some more. Free parking is a big plus in Chicago.

yes it is very casual. But the food is excellent very approachable no waiters with attitude here. just quick service with some very tastey food. it is not cheap. it's the best quality available however is very fairly priced have been going there since they opened. Great cod and fried oysters, also soft shell crabs. very accomadating and friendly staff. Can't say enough. Wish you all the best.

My son eats here at least once a week and I joined him last week. The fish tacos were amazing and the truffle fries are killer! I'm going back today for the fish and chips. This place is a winner!
