the service was far less than attentive but the food was delicious (my pasta was some of the best pasta i've ever had in my life! i want the recipe!). it's a beautiful restaurant, and perfect for a(n expensive) date--very romantic, very nice ambience. we asked for more bread and the server simply nodded, brought more, but it was $6 extra! seems like at a restaurant where the bill is comfortably upwards of $100 for two people, they can afford to refill your bread basket for free. still, it's nice.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers on a cold Saturday late afternoon. At first we thought we would be only having wine, so the bus boy cleared our table. When we decided to also have appetizers, our waiter could not be found! However, the bar hostess was gracious and accomodating. She made a couple of recommendations and took our order. The calamari was excellent and with the wine, made for a lovely restful afternoon break.

We had the lobster ravioli which was wonderful!! Portion size was skimpy. It was so good, I just wanted to keep eating and eating and eating. I guess no amount would have been enough. Service was a knowledgeable and refined.
