Best Sauerbraten ever
I brought my daughters there to try Sauerbraten for the first time. It's always been my favorite. Well now, it's their favorite too. The meat was so tender and the gravy was delicious. We will be back again (and again, and again, and again!) I only wish we had leftovers to bring home with us!

lost its Mojo
saddest restaurant story in Chicago. It was fine German food at value prices with great service. Now it's just another unremarkable place. Rumor: wicked witch of a Berghoff daughter has driven family out? One hundred plus years of a great tradition shot to Holle.

The best apple/french onion soup ever!
Visited the restaurant in October for lunch with my wife and had a wonderful meal. It started out with the most amazing soup, a french onion/apple soup. We both loved it and would like to know the recipe because we live in Texas.
