    Great Place

This is a great go-to place when you crave Vietnamese but want to steer clear of the hubble and trouble of heading down to Arglye. Parking is good, service is good, the green walls are relaxing, and it's BYOB. Eh, maybe a little pricey for what you get, but the food has always been great. We make this place a regular stop for dining and also for take-out.

    Good but.....

first time there, food was very good, portions small for the price

    Big Flavor- Tiny Portions

Was hoping what I'd heard wasn't true...That Ben Tre skimped a bit on the portions. Sadly, the value didn't match the quality- And no, the two don't balance each other out- not for a less than desirable location in a run down strip mall off McCormick- either dish out a better size- or cut the prices by at least 25%. 2 spring rolls for 5 bucks? $3.25 for lemonade? 12 dollars for a lotus salad with only 4 shrimp? C'mon...For value you can do better elsewhere.

    Great place!

I am a loyal fan of many Vietnamese restaurants on Argyle. I found this gem not to far from my parent's house in Linolnwood, and checked it out this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and helpful in picking dishes and the food was light, tasty, and plentiful both in portion and quality for the price. I had a beef appetizer with rice paper wrappers. Great fun! My only suggestion would be a great variety of greens (more mint, basil) and veggies (pickled radish, sliced cucumber). My eating companions noted a few things were a little salty, but overall very good. The restaurant is clean, and there is a large waiting area with magazines, nice! I would go back in a heartbeat. In fact we are there last night and are looking at their delivery options for this evening...yummy!

    Fresh and delicious

A small, comfortable family restaurant with delicious, fresh food and a relaxing, comfortable clean atmosphere. The service is great and explanations and menu help is plentiful.

    A Taste of Viet Nam

Charming Vietnamese cafe, family run, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Staff all pleasant and anxious to please. Have eaten in the restaurant and had catering in our home - both have been excellent and well received by family and friends with whom we have shared the food.
