I tried this place last summer in August 2013...absolutely marvelous, I had the pear French toast, chicken sausages and eggs with cheese..the food was absolutely delicious, the wait was a little long but worth every minute. I have found a meat house that sells chicken sausages and I buy them regularly..if you haven't tried this spot, its a must!

I came here yesterday brought my Dad and twin sister and my oldest sister. I must say we all had a wonderful time here the server was right on point attending to our need and friendly and the food was fantastic. We even had the owner come over to us to see if we were well taking care of. We definitely look forward to coming back.

I've been a patron here since they opened and typically on the weekends ordered food for carry out. Today I find out that they do not offer that service anymore so I am stuck at work craving Caramel French Toast, chicken sausage and eggs with extra cheese and now I'm HEARTBROKEN and disappointed. Im literally in tears because of this. I can't help it, once I find a great place I love to eat at, I support it daily. Signed, Disappointed Patron who wish you had carryout again!

The place is very busy, my first time I waited about an hour. Well worth the wait. The service was excellent from waitstaff, GM, owner & chef, The food was great. I will definitely go back again.

I love the food. The French toast and lobster omelettes are my favorite. We drive from the south side often to enjoy the staff, chef and especially the food!

Saw this on WTTW's "Check Please' decided to visit and give it a try. Went earlier Today Holiday). Was berated warmly by hostess and seated in waiting area for about ten minutes then seated. Nadine was our waitress, she was very informative and educated us on our menu options. Being our first time there we tried and shared four different entree dishes. We ordered the Pork CHop executive plate which was seasoned very well and tasted superb. We also ordered the Lobster omelet. Which also was unique but was good. We ordered the Chicken and waffles, the CHicken was well seasoned the waffle was so good it did not need syrup. And finally we ordered the flight of FrenchToast which gave a sampling of the various choices of French toast, the Carmel French Toast wasmy favorite . Our bill came out to about 71 dollars but we did splurge on the Lobster and Pork Chops. Overall our experience was totally positive and this place I will highly recommend. we arrived about 9:30 A.m. And by the time we left there was a line outside to get in. If there is a line the food must be good!!! And this was great. By the way we drove 45 minutes to get there.
