Batter & Berries

We visited this restaurant on January 15th and had the steak and eggs (I forget the name of it), blueberry French toast and pancakes, which they garnished with bananas on my request. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The pancakes have them great hint of lemon, which went surprisingly well with the bananas and the French toast was deliciously tinged with a hint of blueberry. The steak was cooked well and the potatoes were nice and crunchy. And they use real maple syrup, y'all, not that 3% stuff!! The only thing I was troubled with was the temperature. It was a cold day outside and it was kinda cold inside. But the employees were attentive and friendly, and it's always a good sign when people who know the employees come in to eat because that means the employees believe in the food. Keep up the good work.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone for breakfast. I've only been here once and I am looking forward to going there again. I just happened to stumble upon this place and made a great discovery. Let me tell you; I have never tasted anything so heavenly as the strawberry french toast. Crispy on the outside, full of zesty flavor, and they practically melt in your mouth. The chicken sausage is like nothing I've ever tasted. And the service is impeccable. I would suggest getting there early to avoid long lines.
