words cant express
Words cannot express how i feel when i order from bari's. The best, hands down, deli in the city. Very affordable with sandwiches ranging from 5-8 dollars, HUGE portions, quick delivery. I would live here if they let me.

Best Italian Sub in the City
I've been getting the "footlong italian hot no tomatoes" for years. This is by far the best italian sub in the city. I have tried the other subs and they are decent as well. But the italian with hot is the way to go. The meatball is pretty damn good though too except for with the crusty bread, the balls seem to fall out the back to easily. The butcher counter is really good too. Frank and the boys know a thing or two about meat cutting. And if you haven't tried the fresh sausage, your missing out. Every bbq party I am ever invited to I always bring a pound or two of barese and/or hot italian sausage. and EVERYONE raves about it.

RE: A must go to!
Amazing subs!!!! I would recommended this place to anyone who lives in the area or travels near it. Try Vinnie's down the street too..

Bi-weekly Lunch @ Bari
I gave the atmosphere a "3" because I have never set foot inside the deli. However, I do order about 15 sandwiches every other week for my office meetings. They do great with big groups writing the name of the person with their corresponding sub on the outside of the package. And NEVER a mistake. They always get the order spot-on. Speedy delivery and great subs. Highly recommended!

Best Italian Sub In Chicago
I've been going to this place long before it was written up in the Trib as the best in town. It has an old world charm If you need proof, orer the italian with hot peppers.

Great vegan sub place!
Amazing sub sandwiches for pretty cheap. My only complaint is that at peak lunch times the lines are very long. You can order over the phone but I've found that the price of my sandwich turns into $0.50 more, so I always go there in person for the eggplant sandwich (Italian Veggie minus the cheese), my suggestion is to get gardinera with it too. They have mild, medium, and hot gardinera that they make themselves. The d'Amatos bread it's on is amazing too! Very Italian atmosphere, the deli is in the back of the grocery store. If you do get anything from the grocery though, be sure to check the expiration dates as a lot of things I noticed were expired.
