Nice guy...average food
I really liked Bob and I thought I'd found the place, but despite the cordiality the food was average at best. I tried the "famous" broasted chicken and thought it was o.k., not bad, but not great, much less famous. The beef brisket was bland and needs much work. The rib tips where also o.k. Bob seems to try real hard and maybe I just caught him on an off day, but 0 outta 3 ain't too good...sorry.

The best bbq delivery, but...
I love BBQ BOB's except I dread call in for delivery. I find that when a female answers. She tends to be testy and plan rude. Also she will keep you on hold for at lease 2 minutes.(i've timed it twice.) HOW- EVER When a male answers he is very nice and takes your order right away.

Best on the North Side
For wonderful ribs, great sliced brisket and heavenly pies, Bob's is the place. I've been to all the others, and none surpasses Bob's barbecue. It would be nice if he had a few more amenities for dining in, but you can't beat the food.

Rogers Park BEST little rib joint
Opened in 2005, this simple little rib joint has 3 folding plastic tables and 6 or 8 folding chairs... friendly store front atmosphere... and slow (attention to detail) service. This place has the best ribs... pork and beef, super greens and beans, and killer cornbread. Typical of a lot of small rib joints there is no diet pop. Oh well... try it! It's great.

Bar-B-Que Bob's the best around
Not only does he have a great rib shack but a great website. I love the beef and pork ribs. They just come righ off the bone. Biggest rack of ribs around that I have ever ordered.
