    Picture Perfect Italy

This is my favortie place to dine Italian. Wonderful date place. Food is exceptional!! Baked Clams to die for and Chicken Vesuvio Amazing!!! Any veal dish is worth it. Gives you one of the best experiences to dine, makes you feel like a party of Italy. Recommend to all!!!

    A slice of old Chicago

Atmosphere: Is a little crowded and with a quaint sort of elegance that makes it a perfect date place It's an old world feel in an area that has not been over urbanized. Service: is polite and always on top of any situation..wait staff smile. Food: What can I say everything from the pasta's to the Veals to the Old school Italian Fried Chicken is superb. Overall: A great place to discover.

    Best Chicken Vesuvio in Chicago

I went on south oakley avenue because i heard all the restaurants there are family owned and the food is very authentic. There were several older Italian men sitting on the bench in front of an Italian-American mens club. They suggested I go to Bacchanalia. I ordered the baked clams chicken vesuvio and a side order of spinach. The meal was a treat. It reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. The chicken and potatoes were a ten. I thanked the men on the way out. Try it you'll love it.
