I order from this place at least once a week. Hummus is the best I've had. Falafel is really good and the shwarma is delicous... try the hummus & shwarma plate - a pile of shwarma in a pool of hummus - yummy! Also, my food was delivered 12 minutes tonight... you can't beat that!

I read about this restaurant in a food magazine and decided to try it out on our visit to Chicago. The inside was nothing amazing but it was clean and the employees were very friendly. We both really enjoyed our lunch. The portions were appropriate and everything was very fresh. I had the vegetarian plate and my husband had the chic. sharama plate with a kibbi. We both liked it so much we added to our order. Next time we are in from Louisiana we will definately make our way back to Baba Pita!!

Not sure what happened - I think the economy has caught up. At our most recent visit our combo plates we noticeably missing some items. The veggie combo plate seemed to have went down from 2 falafel and dolma to one of each. The good service was also missing. Sad to say maybe we won't be back for a while- hopefully in time this place can get back to where it was.

We just ordered carry out from Baba Pita and we will definitely be ordering again soon. We were a little late picking up our order and our food still tasted fresh. It's a great value, you get a ton of food. We had the Friday special and the chicken kebab pita and both were outstanding.

The food is fantastic! Best falafel I've ever had. Sauces were great. We loved the mint tea. Swarma was terrific. Ambience is beautiful. Service is excellent. We would highly recommend it!

Food was ordered to be delivered to place of work. Chose a falafel sandwich. There is no tahini on the sandwich and what they included in the order was not tahini either! It was some gelinated white sauce that appeared to taste like watered down sour cream with a hint of dill in it. Even the hot sauce was a bit....jello-like, leading me to think they are adding something to stretch out the sauce and provide more portions. Falafel patties were overdone and a bit too crunchy. The patties themselves should have been smaller or at least broken up and distributed around the all too roomy pita pocket. Sad disappointment for what could have been a pricey yet tasty little $5.00 sandwich....I guess the meat-eaters have the advantage here with the .99 cent specials from BK and Wendy's! The little cafe on Wells/Randolph still serves the BEST falafel sandwich in this area!

Service, Food and great owner with a great name. Highly recommend everything. My wife and I love this place and have gotten great delivery and carry out. Never ate in the restaurant but it is very clean and looks nice. Highly recommend
