Fantastique!
I found Avenues to be refreshing after years of tasting sub-par Contemporary American cuisine. For the price, the service, the wine, the food - everything is excellent. Outside of Europe, I have rarely been more impressed with a restaurant or its charming chef.

Disappointed
Went on my anniversary and was disappointed. The wine and service were good. The food was not. Too many flavors not making sense. For the price, I would rather have gone to Trotters.

Hidden Gem
This gem of a restaurant is hidden in the fabulous Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago. We had the Chefs menu with wines paired with each course and it was superb! The service was top notch, and the room had a great view of the city.
