Best Greek in Chicago
Athenian Room is by far one of my favourite restaurants in the city, if not the world. The owners are some of the nicest people too. You can't go wrong with any dish on the menu either. Burgers and Greek salad ate delish.

Best Gyros in the US
First had their Gyros in the early 70's. You can have it with cheese and the red sauce. I have moved from Chicago 30 years ago, but every time I return I come here, get the Gyros and take it next door to the Grogery, sit at the window and watch the world go by. It doesn't get any better than this!!

best steak in town
sounds too good to be true? this place has the best skirt steak in Chicago! it's so cheap you will double check your bill! You will not be disappointed!

Best steak and Greek fries
I moved to Florida 5 years ago and everytime I go back to Chicago I have to come here its the best steak you can get. I wish they would deliver around the country, so that I can have them deliver to florida.

Greatest Spot in Lincoln Park
This place is amazing! I graduated from DePaul University in 1980 and the Athenian Room was great. Now, 29 years later, the place is still great! I come here whenever I can. The food is delicious, the prices are affordable and the owners are wonderful! I love the gyros and burgers...awesome food. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Great food for a low price
The food here is amazing, on the menu they offer both Greek and American food.. And I have tried both and they are to die for!!!! From the greek menu I usually get the kalamata chicken with greek fries or the chicken kabobs... From the American menu the Skirt steak is great and a bargain for how much it costs, and the hamburgers with yellow cheese are delicious. Instead of yellow cheese, you can even get feta cheese on your hamburger... I tried it out and was pretty amazed on how good it taste even with feta.. I eat here all the time because I go to DePaul University and it is literally a block away from the campus!!!!
