How do you screw up Pad Thai?
We got delivery and only got one packet of soy sauce with our sushi roll., Ordered two entrees and only got one set of chopsticks. I won't even start with how poor the food was.

you don't know what you're missing.
Don't bother reading all the reviews. Just get a few people together, grab some wine & go eat. From the best sushi in Chicag to the noodle dishes. It is all fantastic. And the prices will have you there @ least once a week.

asian avenue review
The food was delicious and the service was good. The place is kind of small and on a friday night we had to wait for a table of four, but in the meantime we walked over to whole foods and got a bottle of wine so it worked out perfect. got to know our waitress Pam very well she is awsome told us everything we needed to know and more about the food and business. very nice place to bring a date and a bottle of wine or something but make sure to call and make reservations ahead of time if you are going on a friday night. first time there and will be back. great for kids too if you have any.

Must Try
Great food, always fresh and tasty. Great selection of Thai and Sushi. A good way to support the family owned restraunts. Also nice BYOB.

great specialty rolls
Have walked by this place a hundred times and never stopped before, but glad i finally did. The service is great, food was very tasty... the SUMO is amazing. Only downfall was the place was FREEZING cold. My whole group never took our jackets off and were shivering the entire meal.

DELICIOUS!
I want to start with the food, the thai appetizers are great and the sushi, especially the specials, the SUMO is amazing! The people there are super friendly, seems family owned. Good hang out place for friends and family, cheap too! I went on a weekend and they were kind of packed, but the sushi was totally worth the wait! The best part is that they're BYOB with NO cork fee! I highly recommend this place, it's great!

Worth the Wait
The food is very good and there is a wide variety on the menu - Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food. The restaurant is usually fairly empty, only a few tables occupied even on a Saturday night. However, twice it has taken us more than 30 minutes to get our food - with no one in the restaurant! The food has proven to be well worth the amount we spend and we will go back again, mostly because it's in our neighborhood.
