    Real Mexican

This isn't your average Lincoln Park late night taco stand -- although they are open 24 hours and serve beer and margaritas. Authentic menu, great bar to sit at, and warm staff. Best mexican restaurant in the few block area.

    Al Pastor

If you don't go here and order an Al Pastor burrito, you are shooting yourself in the foot. The rest of the food is good, but the Al Pastor is out of this world. 24 hours, cheap food, cheap beer, friendly staff. A staple!

    Want great food for cheap?

I can't believe anyone looking for food at the corner of Milwaukee, Western, and Armitage goes to McDonald's. For the same $6 you spend on a value meal there, you can get a Burrito Suizo at Arturo's which will fill you up right. They serve salsa and pico de gallo with chips to start your meal, and everything on the menu is solid, even the beef tongue. They have good prices on bottled beer and margaritas (they're huge!), and the service is just fine. Next door is Lazo's, which does some things better, some things not. Go to Arturo's for the Burritos Suizo (with melted cheese on top), and I prefer their shredded chicken (pollo). The chips, and the previously mentioned pico are a plus for Arturo's as well.

The Best Mexican Food in Chicago

When you first walk in you notice the bright orange yellow walls and the ceiling painted as a sky. You are then brought a complimentary basket of chips, red or green salsa, and delicious pico de gallo. The wait staff is very friendly and is attentive to your every need. They have many house specialties and lots of wonderful drinks: Margaritas, Pinas coladas and straight shots. Arturo's is the palce to be either for a quick bite in the afternoon, a delicious breakfast in the morning or all day, a wonderful dinner in the evening, or just partying with a couple of friends

    Possibly the greatest restaurant ever

Cheap, delicious, open 24 hours. Best. Place. Ever. Not a date place, ambiance of a cafeteria, but really other than that it is the best restaurant in Chicago.
