The most authentic northern Thai food in Chicago
I love Aroy Thai, it's such a shame I live so far away. As far as authenticity goes, no other Thai restaurants compare. Every time I come here, the food has been fresh and homemade, the flavors are spot on, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Some of my favorite staples include somtam (Thai papaya salad), Issan sausage (northern Thai fermented sausage), and the tom saep soup (a spicy and sour soup with pork and Thai chilies) My only complaint is that Aroy has turned me into a bit of a snob when it comes to eating Thai food in the city.

Disappointing
I waited 90 minutes for my food it was delivered cold. I will never order from them again. I live less than 1/2 mile from Aroy

Am I in Bangkok??
I have NEVER been disappointed when dining here. The food is authentic....ie spicy when it should be. I have brought friends and family and they all have made it a staple in their dining-out rotation. Try to be adventurous with what you order, but don't miss out on the deep fried chicken wings. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends, but be patient and you will reap the rewards.

love the aroy noodle!
one of the best Thai restaurants around -- I am a fan of many of the entrees but the aroy noodle is the bomb!!!

Aroy Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Love the crab rangoon, Pad Thai, spring rolls, and shrimp shumai!

Favorite Thai in the City!...
I have tried at least 10-12 different Thai restaurants in the city, and this is the TOP of my list! Amazing and authentic Thai...excellent service. My favorite dishes on the menu so far: Pad Sei Eww and Panang Curry...AMAZING!
