I love their mashed potatoes
I definitely could not resist a review when I read the warning about their mashed potatoes. I am a vegetarian now, so I no longer order them with gravy, but their mashed potatoes are still the best ever. They have so many options even for vegetarians that I can not complain. The service is good, but they are not used to vegetarians and sometimes we have small issues, like when we asked for marinara sauce for our cheese sticks and received meat sauce initially. The waitress was really nice about it and had the cook fix it quickly. I must admit it was worth the mix up because when we tried the marinara I realized it was one of the best I have ever tasted! You also can get cheese sticks for $3.25 on Tuesdays and there are about 8 to 10 per order. Delicious. :] It is Tuesday and I think I will take my husband and our baby their to buy some today. <3 Just one side note, the service isn't perfect, but the people are usually very polite and just worn out from working late days with little tips. They are very appreciative and looks at me like I was a saint when I tipped them $3 for a pick up order. The atmosphere is very comfortable and they will address complaints kindly from my experience, so I definitely recommend you try to eat here at least once. Plus the vegetarian black bean burger is delicious.

My Grandmother likes this place
Full of senior citizens. They like the bland and predictable food. It's a diner, maybe you'll find something you like. At least the coffee is good.

Just Your Average Diner Type Food
Chicago is full of diners like this one. The have an absolutely HUGE menu, which is probably why the food is generally just average. The fact that they are open so late, is a bonus. If you are in the mood for some standard breakfast fare, like pancakes, then this is the place to go. They sometimes offer some interesting Greek specials.

a good 24 hour place
i go there all the time, but only when everywhere was close because it was too late. it's a 24 hour place, the service is ok but not great. the prices are reasonable. the food is good over all, but it really depend on what you gonna order. WARNING: Do not order their mashed potato! they are the worst.

McKinley Park's best kept secret
From the outside it may seem a bit dingy, but inside it's beautiful. Gut-rehabbed after the smoking ban, this may be the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in...and absolutely the cleanest 24-hour place. A not-too-rowdy clientele enjoys great food at great prices, TV's and a full bar. Whee else can you get a glass of wine for $2? 49 cent coffee in the mornings, breakfast all day, about 50 different omelets (some really bizarre, like the hot dog omelet) and dinner specials make this a great place to go 24/7.

Good service, Good food, Great price
I was introduced to Archview by my mom, and ever since, I like it. It's a great atmosphere, quick service and good food, at what ever time of day or night.
