Went on a coupon, kept going back
The Entertainment Book had a coupon for Andie's, so we agreed to try it. The summer special was a Moroccan dish of couscous and fruit. Wow! It was so good we went back and back and back. Even took our friends along. And they've gone back. For Thanksgiving we purchased two large orders of hummus to share. It all got shared away and there were no leftovers to bring home. Yummmm!

Subpar Falafel
We ordered carryout from Andie's on Montrose tonight. I got veggie platter #3 (dolmas, falafel, stuffed artichoke, and the potato chops) and my husband got the potato kibbie. The kibbie was great, as were the potato chops and the stuffed artichoke. The dolmas were average to pretty good. The falafel, however, were horrid! The insides tasted as if they had not been cooked at all -- they looked fried, but the inside was just raw chick pea batter! I might go back to Andies for some of the other interesting-sounding menu items, but I will never get the falafel again...I am confused about how this can be a "mediterranean" restaruant if they can't get the falafel right!
