Not your typical in-and-out middle eastern food joint
I love this place. Their food is very very tasty. I've taken several friends to this place and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. If you come with a group of four or five I would say get the family combo, real cheap, we brought four and there was plenty of leftovers. The only thing that did bother me the one time I took my family was that they included the tip on the bill and didn't tell us and it wasn't itemized on the bill, the final price was hand written. I didn't mind except for the fact that there was four of us and most places included gratuity for parties of 6 or more, and most importantly they let you know either on the menu, on the bill, or they would tell you. I'm also a waitress and live off of tips, I would never do that to a customer. In spite of this ONE time incident, I love this place. It very very clean, and really really inexpensive. Falafels are moist believe it or not and their Chicken Kafta and Kabob plates are my favorite. Salads are fresh and definitely a must. Don't forget to try their hummus its very flavorful.

Hands-down the best Middle Eastern food
The food here bum-pumping good! I have never had a better sandwich anywhere. The prices are decent and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a place I'd visit again any humping day!

Maybe the best mediterranean in Chicago
I say maybe so no one else has to get mad and leave a comment that they know a better place. I haven't eaten at every restaurant in the city, but I've eaten at many. I love this restaurant - I would go so far as to say it may be the best mediterranean restaurant in Chicago. I can only speak for the vegetarian selections, since I am a vegetarian - excellent baba ghanouj, hummos, fattoush salad, jerusalem salad, tabouli, falafel, grape leaves and lentil soup. Best baba ghanouj I've had. The falafel is a perfect combination of crunchy and moist, very flavorful. The fattoush salad bursts with flavor and leaves you wanting more. Dine-in or carry-out, you get a plate of olives and pickled turnips. There's also a bakery next door that sells pita bread, flat bread and baklava - all made fresh there, as well as grocery items - spices, canned foods, etc.
