BYOB!
Three of my girls and I went here for a girls night and had a blast. The store-front like space is very cute, the Italian-type cusine hit the spot, and the BYOB situation was terrrrific! Perfect for our girls night out!

Good Food, Great Price & Great People
The team at Adesso has given Boystown a fresh new flavor. It is about time the neighborhood gains a restaurant that does not feature pad thai, sushi or any other Asian cuisine. I have appreciated the service from the staff and will say that I frequent the restaurant and/or utilize the delivery service at least once a week. Although I would like to see some of the lunch options offered at the dinner hour, I would have to say I have a new favorite place to frequent on my nights out in Chicago.

Never Again!
Recently we had dined @Adesso to celebrate my friends Birthday. It was my first time and will probably be my last! My reason isn't because of the food or the atmosphere. It is however all about the $2.00 charge per person to cut our cake! It was bad enough that there was a $4.00 per bottle "opening" charge for the wine we brought. but when they charged us the $2.00 per person fee just to cut the Birthday cake I felt this was a bit much! Mind you, there was a 20% tip already included on the total bill. In other words, this restaurant was charging 20% on top of the "bottle opening" fee AND the "cutting fee" for the cake! Any additional tip we intended to give our server was quickly dis-missed! I would highly reccomend that the next time someone goes to this restaurant, they should consider bringing their own Bottle Opener and Knife!

Ok option
Was packed in the middle of the week for dinner. Food portions are not quite as large as other italian restaurants. Nice atmosphere, but much slower paced in terms of service. Cute neighborhood - may be difficult to find parking.

adesso review
today, my family and i visited adesso in in downtown chicago. the tomato soup was divine, and so were the burgers. the fries were tasty, but on the cool side. the were reasonable for chicago. it had a nice childrens menu. the decor was contemporary with intricate mosaic designs. it had cool tiles on the ceiling and nice music. the atmosphere was sophisticated, but comfortable. Overall my expirience at adesso was a very nice one.
