There is a reason why this place has been in business for decades.
This a fast food restaurant that sells burgers, hot dogs, Italian Beef, Submarine Sandwiches, pizza pufs, BBQ Ribs, Grecian Chicken and a huge variety of other greasy food. The food is very good if you like greasy fast food. Everything is delicious. If you want healthier food, they have a superb Grilled Chicken salad and other salads. The service is NO NONSENSE and fast. You don't go to Anthony's to get pampered and massaged. You go there for good fast food that is cooked when you order it and that is exactly what you get. The place is clean and the cooking area is in plain view. For the best experience, place your order ahead and they will have it ready for you when you show up. Not sure if that only applies to pick-up or if they can have your order ready to dine in, as well. The place stays busy, especially during lunch time because lots of Midway employees and other businesses come there for lunch there to eat. They will usually place you on hold if you call, but only for a few seconds, a minute at the most. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good fast food and fast, no nonsense service. By the way, in 20 years, they have never messed up my order.

Poor service
Anthony's does have good food but the service is poor.You will have to sit and wait for your order every time whether the is one person or ten people in the place. You will always be guaranteed to get the wrong order. It happens to me every time and when I call they have me drive back to the restaurant to correct it. The last time I was to tired to go back and the manager said he would let the owner know I didn't receive my fries and my cheeseburger. The manager took down my information and said if the owner wants he will call me back, needless to say that was 2 months ago. Now when people ask where can they go for good and fast food I won't mention Anthony's.

Very good basic snackshop
I've been going there since just after high school. That's 28 years, and I have never bad a bad meal or an upset stomach. The people are friendly and very helpful, and the dinning area is always clean. The prices are as low as a big box snack shop - but the food is like a kitchen made or back yard barb-q in quality. The soup in the winter is world famous - home made very good ! The Greek chicken is the best ! I like the poor boy steak sandwich - combo. Fries are awsome !

Good Variety Done Well
A wide variety on the menu. The Grecian Chicken is delicious. They definitely know how to do a Maxwell Street Polish right! Two with fries under 5 bucks.
