Great food and excellent service. This place is the BEST in Greektown. The place is also very resonabily priced.

I just recently has lunch with some friends at 9 muses and was pleased to find that the prices were very reasonable and the food was great... tried the gyros and chicken kabob, which were both amazingly tasty, even to a picky eater. On a student's budget, lunch at 9 muses works out great and i can't wait to visit the place at night, which i hear has an awesome atmosphere.

i dont know why people compare this to other greek town restaurants like athena or kostas. this is a small cafe/grill style, and it excels. excellent food, excellent price.

My favorite restaurant in greek town. No frills or anything silly like lighting cheese on fire, just good honest greek food, when you see the place packed with Greeks its a good sign. Try the souvlaki and greek salad. Can't go wrong.

9 Muses is a great restaurant! Excellent food, the best modern Greek music, and the best summer atmosphere. This is more of a Greek grill- you're not going to get moussaka or pastistio, which is what your mom makes for holiday parties- but more of what you would eat on a daily basis. And that setting the cheese on fire, that doesn't happen in Greece and it doesn't happen here- that's a gimmick developed in the U.S. It's a fun place, especially in the summer, with a great patio and floor to ceiling windows throughout- giving the place a sultry vibe.

If you are ever in Greektown make this your last stop. I have been to all the restaurants in Greek Town and this has been by far the worse. Stick to the more traditional places in Greek Town like Athena, Parthenon, Greek Isles, etc...The bread was very hard and my pasta was nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing in the menu really impressed me. And they don't light their sagonaki on fire which is the whole reason to eat greek. Very very disappointing place. The only pro is that it is nicely decorated and has a pretty cool atmosphere and view, specially if you seat by the window that looks onto halsted.

I love 9 Muses! I recently moved out of Greek Town and the thing I miss most is 9 Muses chicken kabob plate. Yumm! This restaurant has quick and friendly service and good, large portions of food. My favorite meal (see above) comes with a large amount of chicken, pita and tzatziki sauce, you also get a good portion of greek salad, rice or fries. Great value!
