Best little Eatery behind a Bus Stop
A friend, who lives nearby and often goes there, told me about 5 Loaves. The soups are homemade and the food fixed fresh. The lemonade is in a class all by itself - delicious. My waitress served the lemonade in its own glass and gave me a glass of ice separate - that was nice. What I really like is the quantity and the price of the food. The bus stop for 75th &MLK is right in front of this eatery and if you want a nice dining experience-get off the bus and enjoy. Try it once and you will be back!

Worth the wait ...
Good food, great prices, & friendly service. I became aware of this establishment through a friend and have returned often. I was a little turned off by the wait during mt last visit but realized it was worth it because the food is made to order and delicious! the Spicy salmon croquettes and wings n waffles are my fav.

A hidden jewel
This place is the best! A friend told me about it less than a month ago and a few weeks out I have visited more than five times. The food is excellent, the serve staff is friendly and the place has a quiet, classy not over the top atmosphere. Very soothing. Food is prepared and presented as though I was on the northside of Chicago but with friendly neighborhood prices. Army & Lou's at the other end of the block was a generations mainstay on the block but the restaurant is now closed due to lack of business. This place is bustling, alive and well and it is in the same block across the street a few doors down. The market place voted and spoke with its feet. Give this place a try!

5 loaves is the best!
When I pulled up to the cafe' I wasn't so sure that the food would be good. I was definitely wrong! Everything was delisious! I can't wait to go back. I've told everyone I know about it.

Great Food
They have excellent home cooked food and their prices are very reasonable. I suggest you try them if you are ever on the south side. Breakfast is always a treat and their turkeyburger is very tasty.
